- ItemChallenges and Opportunities with Cloud Computing(ESS and ESS Research Publications, 2015-04) Kelkar, SandeepCloud computing is a model for providing computing service such as storage, servers, services and applications, without physically acquiring them via the internet. Access to such service could be free or pay as per use. So that the organizations does not have to spent time and cost in managing them. Many business institutions are moving towards the cloud computing due to the efficiency of services and pay-per-use pattern. This pay-per-use pattern based on the resources consumption e.g. processing power, transactions carried out, bandwidth consumed, data transferred, or storage space occupied etc. In cloud computing the client data is maintained in the data centre of a cloud provider like Tata, Netmagic, Google, Amazon and Microsoft etc. Since the data is stored on Internet Cloud the user will have limited or no control over the data, which may lead to various security issues. Since the data custody is at data centre which could lead to threats such as data leakage, insecure interface, sharing of resources, d ata availability and inside attacks etc. There are various challenges for adopting cloud computing such as well managed service level agreement (SLA), Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA). This research paper outlines cloud computing industry models and issues associated with it. This research paper analyse the challenges which are present in cloud computing and best practices by service providers.

- ItemA Study on Awareness of Internet Neutrality in India(2014) Salunkhe, Uday; Kelkar, SandeepThe objective of this paper is to investigate the issues surrounding the concept of Internet neutrality and public awareness in India. It also focuses on the correlation between neutrality and fairness in bandwidth allocation. There could be various views and definitions of Internet neutrality in the Internet community. In the absence of prioritization on the Internet, undesirable situations might occur in which few users may exhaust the available resources. In which specific types of applications and services might get affected by it.The paper briefly presents the concepts of networks and Internet neutrality. Describes the history of Internet spread in India and its regulations. The paper discusses about global scenario of Internet neutrality and its current situation in India. Summary describes about user awareness on Internet neutrality in the city like Mumbai in the country like India. Finally conclude the relationship between ethics of Internet neutrality and Information Diversity.
- ItemA Study on the Scope of Cloud Computing in Management Education(All India Management Association (AIMA), 2016-05) Salunkhe, Uday; Kelkar, SandeepThe cloud computing is a rapidly developing technology, which has brought significant changes and opportunities to various sector in India. It is a pervasive computing paradigm that has revolutionized how Information Technology infrastructure and services can be delivered. There is a growing interest around the utilisation of cloud computing in the education sector. Present study is an attempt to provide an overview of the cloud computing model and its applications for collaboration between academia and student. In this paper we proposed cloud computing to e-learning from the following aspects: its work mode, services, benefits and issues. This paper is an analytical study on the role of cloud computing in education with reference to management institutions. Primary study was carried out with major stakeholders of technical education infrastructures which are implemented for academic use. The state of the art on the use and research of cloud computing in education was conducted via qualitative methodology. After a comprehensive analysis of the available literature, approx. 8 research works have been identified and discussed to highlight the importance and probable usage of cloud in the education domain. The survey identifies and analyses the advantages and risks that the use of cloud computing may have for the main stakeholders in education. The extensive analysis suggests that the introduction of cloud computing to management education is feasible to bring greater clarity landscape about its benefits.
