Abstract: The objective of this paper is to investigate the issues surrounding the concept of Internet neutrality and public awareness in India. It also focuses on the correlation between neutrality and fairness in bandwidth allocation. There could be various views and definitions of Internet neutrality in the Internet community. In the absence of prioritization on the Internet, undesirable situations might occur in which few users may exhaust the available resources. In which specific types of applications and services might get affected by it.The paper briefly presents the concepts of networks and Internet neutrality. Describes the history of Internet spread in India and its regulations. The paper discusses about global scenario of Internet neutrality and its current situation in India. Summary describes about user awareness on Internet neutrality in the city like Mumbai in the country like India. Finally conclude the relationship between ethics of Internet neutrality and Information Diversity.
